Warmth accompanies everyone amid the sweltering midsummer. To support underprivileged students in pursuing their dreams and spread corporate compassion, Changsha Zuxin New Materials Co., Ltd. recently launched a charity home visit program for student aid.
Entrusted by Mr. Liang Xiaobin, Chairman of the company, Peng Xiao, Secretary of the Company Party Branch, led a team of Party members and Party membership aspirants. Accompanied by staff from the Charity Federation, the group visited the homes of disadvantaged students, delivering daily supplies and student grants.
The first stop was the residence of student Wu, a recent college entrance exam taker. Having lost his father at a young age, Wu lives in straitened circumstances and relies solely on his grandfather’s modest pension to fund his studies. Changsha Zuxin has provided consistent financial support for him over the years. Despite financial hardships, Wu has remained diligent, disciplined and hardworking. His efforts paid off this year as he scored 637 in the science track of the national college entrance examination, poised to enroll at a prestigious university. The visiting team presented him with relief supplies and a grant, encouraging him to stay true to his aspirations, keep studying diligently and embrace a promising future through academic excellence.
The team then traveled over 100 kilometers to Qingshanqiao Town to visit student Shi. Raised solely by his grandmother, Shi is self-reliant and studious. He achieved outstanding results in this year’s high school entrance examination and secured admission to a key senior high school. The company provided daily necessities and a grant for him, backing the young learner’s academic journey with modest charitable acts.
Grateful for its roots, Zuxin acts with unwavering responsibility. For years, Zuxin New Materials has devoted itself to public welfare initiatives, including rural revitalization support under the program "Private Enterprises Empower Counties for Shared Development" and the poverty relief campaign "Thousand Enterprises Assist Thousand Households". Regular student aid and poverty alleviation activities have long been part of the company’s routine.
