On July 9, faculty and student representatives from the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Central South University paid a visit to Zuxing New Materials for an enterprise tour and forum, aiming to further deepen industry-university-research integration and consolidate the foundation for collaborative development between universities and enterprises.
As a national-level "Specialized, Sophisticated, Unique and Innovative Little Giant" enterprise, a national intellectual property advantageous enterprise and a national green factory, our company specializes in the R&D and production of micro-spherical aluminum powder and flaky functional powder materials. During the visit, teachers and students toured the corporate exhibition hall to gain a direct understanding of the company’s full industrial chain layout. They learned in depth about seven core self-developed technologies including the preparation and surface modification of micro-spherical aluminum powder, and experienced the innovative achievements and industrial strengths in the new materials sector up close.
At the forum, Zeng Mengjin, Employee Director and Director of the Technical Center, introduced the company’s development history, core business layout and talent training plans. Students raised active questions concerning technical research, innovation and entrepreneurship, career planning and other topics, creating a vibrant exchange atmosphere on site.
This event was organized by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of the Economic and Technological Development Zone. Going forward, Zuxing New Materials will continue to deepen industry-university-research cooperation with universities, integrate high-quality resources from both sides, focus on technological innovation and talent cultivation, and fuel the high-quality development of the new materials industry.
